It was the end of November and it was just starting to snowing outside. The snow creating a thin sheet of white over the roads and trees outside. Jeremy was on his way home after late night hockey practice with the Boston Bruins. As he drove he cursed himself for not wearing warm enough clothes and the ac didn’t really seem to help either. Finally he pulled up to the house he shared with his girlfriend of two years. He jumped out of the car, getting his bags and making a run for it to the door, the cold air making him shiver as he quickly opened the door.
He walked inside and put his bags down as he softly called out her name. When there was no answer he walked over to their bedroom and peaked his head in. There he sew her sound asleep absolutely wrapped with blankets, presumably cold as well. He then decided to take a quick shower before bed, hoping it would warm his cold body. After he went to bed to join her, quietly sliding into bed behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist and they lay snug under the covers.
“Hey love.” He whispered softly into her ear as he got comfortable against her. He was still a bit cold for the winter outside and instantly snuggled up to her, taking all the warmth he could get from her.
