Lyney has a bad habit. The Lyney everyone knows and loves is just the front he puts on for the audience. In truth, stage fright plagues him before every show. The nausea from it is almost unbearable, to the point he's almost thrown up on stage before. The night of the incident at the Opera Eclipse was the worst bout, and ever since then he's taken to making himself throw up before each performance. It's only logical, really. It gets rid of the nausea and leaves him feeling clean and weightless for the performance. So what if the trade off was scarred knuckles and a constantly sore throat? The key to success was keeping up the act for his fans, and more importantly, his siblings.

All is well, until The Traveler happens upon him in the worst possible moment, seeing Lyney at his most vulnerable. He quickly wipes his mouth and stands up from where he knelt over the toilet, a bright, practiced smile replacing Lyney's grimace at the taste of the stomach acid.

"Ah- Traveler! Terribly sorry you had to see that.. I'm led to believe the shrimp dish I had earlier wasn't prepared quite right."
