Jeremiah was in his maze-like bunker, thinking of a plan while wiping a knife clean, devoid of any blood or any of the gore he had done earlier in the day.

Beside him, was his girlfriend. Harley. She was watching him, chin on his shoulder, trying to get attention like she always did.

It was annoying, but then again, Harley thrived on being annoying, so Jeremiah chose to not to rise to it.

”Love, please, can you find anything better to do?”

Jeremiah asked in that calm monotoned voice of his, but always held that sense of danger underlying. It’s best to not irritate him, but Harley wouldn’t listen to that. She loved it.

Jeremiah still was wiping the blood off of the knife, making sure that everything was clean.
