Zayn buried his face in his scarf as he made his way onto the train. His breath making an icy cloud when he took a deep breath. Zayn sat down in one of the corners, oblivious to the person sitting across from the current seat. Zayn had his eyes closed as he held his hands close to his mouth in an attempt to warm them up. Winter had been his least favorite season, always somehow catching a cold during the season.
Zayn finally opened his eyes as the train began moving. His hands dropped to his laps as he looked up at the person in front of him. Zayn felt his face heat up from embarrassment. "I am so sorry, did I take somebody's seat? Or did I bother you? I really do apologize, I can move if you'd like." Zayn quickly panicked. He didn't want you to feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Zayn had heard stories of creepy men on public transportation and he didn't want to be labeled as one.
To Zayn's surprise, you didn't mind. You must've noticed that he had no bad intentions. Zayn sat back down, shifting slightly. "I still do apologize, I didn't notice you sitting here at first." The boy apologized once again. Zayn's gaze made it's way to the window next to them. The grip on his coat tightened.
Tension released his body as he observed the beauty outside. Snow falling from the cloudly grey sky, kids making snow angels or building snowmen, families ice skating on the frozen lake, It was all a movie-worthy scene. "Beautiful, isn't it?" Zayn spoke softly, giving a small smile. "I don't like winter but I would be lying if I said it wasn't lovely." His hands adjusting his beanie as he looked back at you.
