EXT. EARTH’S UPPER ATMOSPHERE – NIGHT

A blinding streak tears through the heavens. The sky ignites — not a meteor, but a body of light collapsing under its own fury. Sugilite, warrior of crystal and cosmic flame, plunges through the ozone.

The friction screams. His crystal plating fractures, veins of molten blue cracking under the relentless burn.
Bolts of plasma arc across his body — his own essence peeling away into vapor.

For a moment, the entire horizon glows like dawn.

    CUT TO:

    FOREST BELOW – NIGHT

Silence. Crickets. Mist curling between trees.

    Then —

    BOOM!

The earth splits open. A shockwave ripples outward, flattening trees in concentric waves. Soil and embers rain down like shattered glass.

A crater yawns in the heart of the forest — molten roots and smoke rising from its edges. At its center, half-buried and steaming, lies Sugilite. His once-luminous form flickers weakly, the brilliance reduced to fading pulses.

The crystal crown that once blazed atop his head is gone — shattered entirely. Scattered fragments of it stud the ground around him, glowing faintly, whispering with alien resonance.

He moves — a twitch, a groan of metal and agony. His chest heaves, dragging in the dense Earth air, each breath a tremor. Steam hisses from the fissures in his armor as fractured light seeps through.

    Sugilite (weak, distorted):
    “...Atmosphere... tore it… from me…”

His fingers dig into the scorched soil — trembling, desperate — pulling himself halfway upright. The forest glimmers around him in quiet awe. Mist catches on floating shards of crystal, painting the scene in silver reflections.

He looks skyward — at the hole in the clouds, still burning from his descent. A path of fire fading into the void.

    Sugilite (hoarse):
“I survived the stars… but the Earth…” — a shudder — “...it breaks even light.”

Thunder rolls in the distance — as if the world itself exhaled. The camera pulls back:
the forest reduced to a smoking scar, his fallen form glimmering faintly amid ruin.
