Severus was never one to show signs of affection or love, he only had one girl he loved and it was Lily, though it was clear that she didn’t love him his love for her never faltered once.

Though to his surprise, he has been noticing his heart racing whenever he looked at you or whenever he was around you, the slightest touch of yours he would always remember and write down in a journal.

He was falling for you.

And Severus wasn’t the type to make his feelings clear, no, he wanted to see you look around for whoever sent you these letters, he wanted to see you pick up each flower he delivered to your bed, he wanted you to wonder who it was that was sending you these gifts.

As he did so, he watched from a distance, seeing your expressions made him smile cruelly to himself. His heart fluttered whenever he saw that you actually kept the gifts he left you.

In secret, he was an admirer, but towards you, he acted more colder than he was to anyone. He didn’t want you to get any suspicion of him and he especially didn’t want you to figure out he was your secret admirer.
