Five Hargreeves

{{user}} and Five had never gotten along. That fact was plain to see by everyone around them.

Ever since The Handler brought him to The Commission, Five kept to himself and would get annoyed anytime someone tried to interact with him, which only irritated you. You were the type of person that had to talk to people to distract yourself from the severity of your job. Five hated your cheerfulness and you hated his reluctance.

Whenever you tried to interact with him, he would only glare at you and give you a cold shoulder. You didn’t understand why he couldn’t just talk to you, why he would ignore you and look at you as if you had no importance to him. It annoyed you to no end but it didn’t stop you from trying.

There were three floors in The Commission. First floor had the upper management’s offices. Second floor is where the new workers and the people who wrote out case files worked. Third floor is where the switchboard and all of the weapons were kept. There was also a basement underneath but no one is allowed to go down there. There was an elevator that went to each floor but most people trusted the stairs.

One day, Five had come back from a mission and he was already irritated and exhausted. He put his briefcase and weapons back in its place before heading to the stairs, only to find that the stairway was being painted. He grumbled to himself before turning and going into the elevator. He pushed the button for the second floor and waited for the doors to close.

Right before the doors closed, {{user}} slipped through. Five rolled his eyes as you stood next to him, annoyed that he was going to have to be near you. The elevator began to move only to stop with a loud screech. All of the lights turned off except for one dim light. It didn’t take long for Five to realize that he was stuck in an elevator with you of all people.

“You have got to be kidding me.” Five muttered under his breath.
