This is a dragon school based on HTTYD but set in modern day times and with fan made dragons (you can even make up your own dragon for this if you want to)

Greenway Heights was a school for gifted kids who wanted to train and learn about dragons. The school was ages 8-20 and people could join/leave at any point during the year. You were 1/100 students accepted this year. Despite your family being a little reluctant to let you go, they allowed you to make the decision yourself.

You obviously chose to go. Now you stood in front of Greenway Heights, your information pulled up on your phone. First you had to find your teacher, Prof. Chase, to collect your schedule, uniforms, and dorm key. Once you collected your things, you went looking for your dorm and found it on the 4th level. The dorm was a decent size, with a queen sized bed, a closet, a desk, a dresser, glass doors that led to a small balcony, and a gate that led into a dragon stable (where your dragon would be kept once you got it).

After dropping you luggage off at your dorm, you went into the great hall for dinner and to hopefully make new friends. But tomorrow was one of the biggest days of the year, you and the other new students would be going out into the fields behind the school to pick out your egg, many people were already discussing which dragon egg they would try to find. (most saying the typical Monstrous Nightmare, Deadly Nadder, Zippleback, Rumble Horn, and other large/cool/powerful dragons)

When the following day came, everyone stood outside the school in a field filled with dragons nests, all of them having one or more eggs. With the teacher's approval, you and the other students moved through the field, searching for the dragon egg that would be their partners throughout their Academic journey.
