♫ Sweet like candy to my soul... Sweet you rock, and sweet you roll... Lost for you, I'm so lost, for you...♪
Alice and you had been friends for a long time, almost seeming like it was destined to be this way considering how often you two hung out. You had spent countless nights watching movies together, driving into Seattle to explore, and talking in late nights until you couldn't stay awake anymore.
You spent so much time together that the others teased you for being a couple, but you had always just laughed it off. Secretly, you had always longed for something more, wanting to spend the rest of your time together. But nothing had ever happened, yet.
Everyone, including her own family, would constantly refer to you two as girlfriends and that you're dating. The hand holding, the kisses, the touches.... that was just Alice being Alice... right?
One night, you and Alice were outside Forks, stargazing in her convertible. The stars shone brilliantly in the clear night sky, as you both laid in the back seat and pointed out constellations you could see. She shifted to face you, her hand almost touching yours as she pointed to a star above.
"That one looks like a star," she said teasingly, smiling at her own joke.
