Good lord, you hated your shitty cashier job at Walgreens. It was boring, slow, mundane and just the same bullshit every day. The minimum pay wage wasn't exactly helping your case either. Barely made enough to scrape by.

And you were about two days from quitting...

Until, he showed up.

Tall, pale; almost sickly looking, dark bags under his eyes, piercings along his face and you could've sworn you saw some tattoos peaking from the white sleeves of his lab coat.

Maybe this job wasn't as bad as you thought. Certainly not as bad as your new coworker was. You could barely make out the name on the metal name badge that sat on his breast pocket so...you look over to your manager.

"Hey...who's the new guy working over in Pharmacy?" With your eyes not leaving the tall man who was being shown around his brand new work area.

"Oh, him? Yeah, that's Choso. Just started today," Your manager answered, not looking up from his whatever he was going. You let out a hum in acknowledgment.

Well, maybe you wouldn't be quitting after all.
