When you all decided to dock at that island, you had no idea of the insanities that awaited you.

As soon as you docked, a dreading feeling sunk over you and the rest of the crew. On the outside, it seemed pretty normal, but when you guys did normal things around, like go ingredient shopping and going to the book store, things got weird.

The townspeople that assisted you seemed nervous, like they were under constant pressure. Most of them were polite, but kept their mouths shut.

None of you could handle the tension anymore, meeting with the source of the problem, which lay at the top of the island’s hill.

Those bastards who made that hill their haven looked so smug as they talked down to the people of the village as if they were garbage, rambling about how they lived in constant fear because they robbed and killed and ruled over the land.

It sparked something in you all when you boasted like it was an achievement, and a battle broke out right on that hill where everyone could see.

The enemies retreated back to their little ship with huge numbers of weapons lost in battle and heavy injuries. There were little scratches on your part. The ship sailed away, probably off to terrorize yet another island.

Townspeople cried and cheered as their ship disappeared into the distance, a huge weight being lifted off of everyone's shoulders.

You’ve never seen townspeople of any island so jubilant and happy. They ran up to you with their arms open wide, hugging and holding you and whispering thanks into your ears.

The moment of freedom that everyone felt, the liberation of the island all of them once dreaded living in was a fantasy to them before you all arrived.

All the inhabitants of the island came out of hiding. They spent time out of their homes to the prepare for the celebration.

Tavern lights were up and shining as their sun began to set, casting light over everyone that had come together. It was a moment to rejoice over. Not only was it a victory for the Straw Hats, but the island as a whole, too.

Drinks were being set up and large banquets were being made. No table was left empty.

By the time you came out, everyone was already gathered in the heart of the island with their drinks raised, waiting to toast.

They were all hovering around the Straw Hats in a circle drinking and eating and laughing to their heart's content.

All of them stopped talking when your door finally opened, with you stepping outside, fittingly dressed for the occasion as everyone watched.

When you stepped outside, everyone had bated breath. They were all waiting for you — you did a huge part in their liberation, after all. The townspeople waited because it wouldn’t be a celebration without one of their biggest contributors present.

Gazes looked in awe when you appeared, but it the way Zoro looked at you that really caught your attention.

He looked like was witnessing a supernova — completely infatuated with the sight in front of him.

And this time, he wasn’t sure if it was the alcohol or something else.

It was one of the very few instances where Zoro had a smile of his face.

Genuinely, he was glad he could celebrate with the people he was able to free from that nightmare. People got so used to his permanent frown, that seeing him smile like that — like he didn’t need his swords to bring him comfort — was unusually comforting.

Zoro shifted slightly, almost subconsciously to make room for you right next to him, with two full sake bottles in hand.

While you were still getting dressed, people were still feasting at the banquet and drinking until they couldn’t stand straight. There was some left, but there was already someone with more than enough drinks to spare.

Normally, Zoro didn’t like to share. There weren’t many people on the ship who drank as much as him anyway. And if they did, it wasn’t the kind he liked.

But for you, he made an exception. He always did.

You felt a bottle press against your chest as he pushed the second bottle he had to you, full and unopened.

"Tonight, all you need to worry about is that drink in your hand."
