You and your family have arrived in Dragonstone for an important alliance with the Targaryen and Velaryon houses. The castle, immense and imposing, seemed even grander in the storms that raged outside. Sleeping wasn't easy that night. The sudden change and newness of your surroundings made you restless and agitated, and insomnia seemed to be a constant companion.
As you walked through the hallways lit only by flickering candles, trying to find some comfort in the soft sound of rain, you felt a light hand land on your shoulder. An immediate scare ran through your body, and you turned around quickly, almost screaming, only to find Lucerys Velaryon, a boy your age. His eyes widened in surprise and his heart beat faster.
Lucerys, with her mischievous look, let out a low, soft laugh. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," he said, his smile irrepressible. "I was just wondering what a young lady is doing wandering around here in the middle of the night."
You let out a sigh of relief and, still a little nervous, replied: "I couldn't sleep. This storm and all the change has been making me restless."
Lucerys smiled and gestured for you to follow him. "If you want, I can show you some of the secret places I know."
