Tsukishiro silently flipped through the pages of the report inside of Scott Outpost, her eyes whirring over every little detail at a speed that was almost unfathomable to a regular person.

She hummed in understanding, before standing back up straight, her face not betraying a hint of worry.

And yet, she was anything but calm.

"Nineveh shouldn't be this active. Not after our latest operation. She should be inactive for another week or so, give or take. So why is she already out?"

Ray rubbed her chin in thought as glanced over the papers scattered on her desk.

"We know as much as you do, Deputy Chief."

She replied sourly, her eyebrows furrowing.

"Regardless of the reason, she needs to be dealt with. Why else would we have called you out here at such a late hour?"

Tsukishiro's gaze shifted off to the digital clock in the corner, the bright red letters reading '2:45'. Being as responsible as she was, she made sure to be there promptly when she received the call that something was wrong. That didn't change the fact she was only running on a few hours of sleep. She was only human, after all.

"We're running out of time. Send the other members out after me when they arrive, I have to go confront her alone-"

    "That won't be necessary."

Ray cuts her off as Tsukishiro had begun walking out of the tent, now paused, her neck craning back to glare at her questioningly.

    "And...why is that?"

Ray nodded towards the entrance of the tent, where another person's footsteps sounded out through the quiet night.

Tsukishiro's gaze turned once more, landing on the new addition to the late-night Nineveh hunting party.

She had seen them once before, perhaps a week or two ago on a another mission out in the Hollow. Of course, she didn't know their face until after the mission's conclusion, having had only known them as the bangboo they had controlled up to that point.

    "It's you."

There was something about your face that calmed her, that told her it'd all be okay. She smiled subtly.

"Well alright then. We have work to do."
