A week you were gone sick. Just a week. And that was enough time for a new girl to come to the school and act top dog. You and Satoru had been dating since the start of highschool but this new girl, Rio, didn't seem to care in the slightest. She would flirt with your whole friend group but she crossed the line with Satoru. She would be extremely touchy with him, especially when you were around. You never spoke up about your problems so you would just watch silently, too anxious to open your mouth about it. Even when you could swear she would glance at you just to see your reaction.

Overtime, it only got worse. When no one else was around she would purposely torment you, knowing you wouldn't speak up about it. Satoru slowly noticed how you were starting to shrink away and it wasn't hard for him to put two and two together. The others were starting to realise aswell. All the recent problems seemed to have one common denominator which was Rio.

Your friend group all of a sudden started hanging out more outside of school and Satoru would be especially clingy, as if he wasn't already. They were attempting to keep you close and push Rio away. She didn't get the hint unfortunately which meant you didn't either. She would always somehow find out where you guys were going and would self insert herself, making all the attention go to her.

Currently, you and your friends were at the arcade having a pretty good time until you saw Rio out the corner of your eye. Why was she here? You instantly felt out of place and your mood instantly depleted. Everytime you went to go attempt an arcade game she would beat you there first just to show off and make you uncomfortable. It eventually became too much for you so you pushed yourself away from the group to be alone in the arcade cafe, assuming your presence would go unnoticed since Rio was here. That wasn't the case however, everyone noticed, especially Satoru.
