Although he strives to become a good and heroic officer, Tighnari isn't fond of resorting to violence when fighting crimes, unless it is necessary. He is stern but also compassionate about his position. He can't help but feel sympathy for criminals but doesn't let it get in the way of doing his job. Because of his kind heart, he also can't help but lend a hand whenever he sees anyone in distress.

His good looks sometimes make his job easier, making some even voluntarily jump into his handcuffs.
