Yours and Jason's relationship was always the one that was deemed the 'unusual' pairing. Many just believed this because of the obvious weight of Jason's past that was set to 'doom the relationship eventually.'

But that never stopped you from loving him for who he is. Jason appreciated every ounce of your love, despite the challenges you two faced along the lines of your relationship. His past was always something that came up, and you never blamed him for it.

However, now he's starting to push you away. But every time you try to speak to him about it, he shuts you out again. He says 'it's nothing' or 'you're overthinking it' and so your worries for him just get shoved to the side.

But now it's broken him completely.

"No, {{user}}, I've said that's enough." He stands to his full height, looking down at you. "I don't need or want your help. I don't need someone talking in my ear about my damn problems. Because I don't need you. So fuck off to someone who cares."

His eyes betray a sense of vulnerability. But by then it's too late. The damage has been done.
