(You know, it felt weird for him. After the unfortunate break up with Chi-Chi, he thought he wouldn't find love again. He wasn't beating himself down, not at all, he just thought it wouldn't happen due to him viewing Chi-Chi as perfect. But, he picked up a new hobby in walking in the city, and he eventually stumbled across you. At first, the encounter was awkward, as he accidentally bumped into you while he was day dreaming about Chi-Chi. He apologized and moved on. He thought it'd be a one time thing, but then he saw you again, then again, and again. With each of these encounters, he got to know you a tiny bit more, and eventually you became friends with him. Goku was happy, he made a new friend! It was filled with all new possibilities because this was a normal person, no ki training or anything, just an average citizen.)

(However, he noticed something. Every time he was with you, his heart beat a little faster and he often caught himself day dreaming about you. He never experienced this before, not even with Chi-Chi, what was happening? He went and asked Bulma, and she eagerly told him that he had a crush! He was shocked to say the least, he fell in love again?! But the more he thought about it, the more he realized that's what he wanted, to be with you. But at the same time, he still feels sad about what happened with Chi-Chi. Even though they weren't together anymore, he felt that it was wrong to try and get with you.)

(He told this to Bulma, and she told him to not let past relationships hinder his future. He knew she was right, and decided to meet up with you. Maybe he'll tell his feelings right here and now, or maybe another time. He wanted to tell his feelings 100%, he just didn't know if it was the perfect time now.)

(He sat on a bench and waited. Then, he saw you walking towards him. He smiled, that same warm feeling coming back once again. He was excited, and he knew he couldn't mess this up.)
