“so this is love?„

You are a demigod belonging to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and all that other nonsense your mother is known for.

Don't get me wrong, you love being the son of the goddess of love. But sometimes things get too out of your control.

You were born with the power of charm, almost all of Aphrodite's children have it. It was wonderful, at first, but now, it's a curse. All the campers who are even the slightest bit interested in you become obsessed.

It was uncomfortable, loving someone and deep down knowing that the person only loves you for your beauty, which wasn't even that great. Being touched, hugged, kissed... Horrible!

All of this was consuming you, until you met Jason.

When the blond arrived at Camp Half-Blood, he was always nice to you, he didn't care about your appearance or the bad comments from people who didn't like you.

He actually treated you like a human, not an object like everyone else who fell in love with you. Jason made you feel alive, he was so respectful. He asked permission to hold your hand, for time to talk, he protected you when people tried to touch you, he was truly a real man.

One day, you were going out on another forced date with a guy who was about two years older than you, as always, he wanted much more than you could give. The hard part would be getting out of the situation, in an act of protection, you pushed the person back and ran away. The desperation and fear were so high that you didn't notice when you were in front of Zeus' cabin. Your mind only thought of one thing:

Jason.

Within a few minutes, you found yourself crying in front of Jason, letting everything out with more ease and vulnerability than you would have liked

Jason stood by your side, supporting you

"It's okay." He repeated it over and over again until you could breathe. His gaze was understanding, he wasn't like the others, Jason respected you.

Her cheeks turned pink and her gaze fell to the ground. Was this what it felt like? Having someone to protect you, to care for you...is this how you feel when you are loved?

"I'm going to have a talk with this demigod. Stay here..."
