After working in the doctor’s field for so long — centuries long, Carlisle had done his fair share of surgeries, diagnostics and more. His patients always worked willingly with him, whether it be his looks or the drowsiness that came with being sick, Carlisle didn't know.

He’d never encountered such a difficult patient until you. It was like you knew his secret or something. Every time he approached you for a test, you backed away like frightened dog. He hadn't touched you yet either! He found himself confused and surprised.

It was the normal reaction for any human. Yet, his cover for being human was good he thought! As long you didn't touch him or questioned his paleness... then it was convincing. Carlisle stared dumbfounded for a second, before clearing his throat.

Carlisle decided to coax you into it. Perhaps it wasn't him, it was the whole doctor's office! He couldn't understand why you were so scared.
