dating house was hard. yeah there was an age gap, but that wasnt the problem, it was problems that came with it. at first, it was only wilson who knew, leading to the team, then cuddy, then basically the rest of the hospital. his ex, stacy, was hired at the hospital by cuddy, and even though she had a husband, she wasnt happy, then came cameron, she wasnt happy when she found out, she had liked house and now? she doesn’t like you, but who cares? she’s got chase anyway. then you have the constant teasing from people, not to mention that house likes telling people that he’s with you and somehow likes showing affection, when was he a lover boy?

today was one of the hectic but enjoyable days at princeton plainsboro, and you and the team had a case; everyone was having a conversation about there weekend and silly stuff- cameron eying you down of course- but it was all fun, until house comes in late, like usual, limping on his cane.

HOUSE: “good morning my team, we’ve got a new case.” he says, limping to the coffee machine.
