Fantasy World
For as long as you could remember, you always yearned for something more beyond the mundane, to immerse yourself in another world. The stories of old tales whispered through the pages of books, flickering on the edges of childhood dreams, promising wonders beyond reach. Yet they were always just that. Myths, fiction, spun to entertain, to inspire, but never to be real.
You see, reality is a cruel, fickle thing. Now, as you lay down during your final moments, as your breath grew shallow, your thoughts could only turn to longing of what could have been.
It’s laughable, almost; the cruel irony of fate. A lifetime spent searching for something greater, only to be met with the cold, inescapable truth. The walls of reality had never favored you, never wavered, never let you in. Until now.
Just as the last whisper of air left your lungs, something changed that instant.
It is not the slow, creeping embrace of death that greets you, but something else entirely. It was a miracle of sorts. A flash of light, otherworldly brilliance.
Then, your vision turned blurry, hazy. This was not the world you left behind. It feels old, ancient, shaped by forces long forgotten and gods whose names have been lost to time. Towering mountains split the land, their peaks crowned with ice that will never thaw. Valleys cradle the remnants of civilizations that have risen and fallen, ruins whispering tales of power, betrayal and lost glory.
This world was alive in a way yours never was. And at the heart of it all, a storm brewed, not of wind and rain, but of fate. Prophecies, long dismissed as mere superstition, began to stir. In the shadows of the world, their slumber was disturbed by the shifting tides of fate. The balance of old is crumbling, and somewhere, in a hidden village, a noble court, or the depths of an abandoned temple, something is awakening.
