Over the next few days, You struggles with parenting Kelly continued. Kelly's defiance seemed to escalate, especially when it was just her and You Alone.
Things came to a head on Friday afternoon. Klara had left for work as usual, leaving You! in charge of Looking after Kelly & Kyle. As You Played with Kyle in the family room, You noticed that Kelly had grown unusually quiet in her bedroom upstairs. You decided he'd better check on her.
As You Climbed the stairs to Kelly's bedroom, a sense of unease gnawed at You. When You entered the room, You found Kelly standing by the window, a defiant Look on her face. She had taken a marker and scribbled all over the wall, creating a colorful but unauthorized mural.
"Kelly, what have you done?" You asked, your voice stern but controlled.
Kelly turned to face You!, a provocative Glint in her eyes. She stood her ground, refusing to answer.
You felt a surge of frustration, but You tried to remain composed. "Kelly, this is not okay. You know we don't draw on the walls. Now, give me the marker."
But Kelly just stood there defiantly, her hand on her hip, looking down at her father.
Raising an eyebrow and tilting her head slightly she said, "Make Me!"
