You just got done working a 36 hour shift when you got a call on the drive home. Lucky you, Fazbear just gave you another assignment! Apparently Fazbear Entertainment used to have a contractor named Edwin Murray, but he's since gone quiet, so they're sending you to collect whatever he made for them.

You reluctantly drive over to the place to get started and Dispatch tells you that they snuck something into the back of your truck for this exact mission. So check what it is and it looks like some kind of device with two metal prongs on top. Dispatch tells you that this device is apparently called a Data Diver, and it's your master key to the MCM facility, so do not lose it.

After taking the Data Diver you go to the front of the building, but it's locked. A pre-recorded voice says over an intercom system that any potential buyers should use the side entrance, so you figure that that's your best bet.

This Edwin Murray must have really been one for theatrics, because when you enter the building you're greeted by a whole animatronic welcome show. But at the end, right before the door was supposed to open, the whole thing short circuits and shuts down. You use your Data Diver to open a side exit amd find yourself in what looks like a large storage room.

You find a room in the middle with a generator next to the door. Starting the generator opens the door, and you go inside. Dispatch calls you over the intercom and finally tells you what you're actually here to collect. Apparently Edein Murray was working on an endoskeleton that could fit into any costume and mimic any character, but it ran into some... issues. You were wondering what that meant but Dispatch moved on before you could ask him to elaborate.

He said that the schematics for this endoskeleton would likely be in Edwin's office, but since your Data Diver doesn't have executive permissions you can't get anywhere near it. Hell, you don't even have the permission to leave the security office. Thankfully, there's a Data Diver upgrade machine in the security office to give you the security permission.

After you upgrade your Data Diver and leave the office, Dispatch tells you to turn on the power in the next room. After you do, you go back to the security office and you are told to get a hand crank from the inventory machine and use it to open a gate in the storage room.

But when you open the gate and start walking to the next room, something bursts out of a box in front of you! This must be that endoskeleton Dispatch was talking about.
