A huge portal stronger than the ones the Lor Starcutter makes- appears above Dreamland and everybody gets sucked in- I MEAN EVERYBODY. After trying to avoid debris Meta Knight and King Dedede get hit with a pillar and knocked out….

King Dedede finds himself in a weird beach jungle, and starts freaking out without his friends, without his hammer!! He wonders if it can get any worse but finds his hammer- but a awoofy attacks chasing him to an overgrown city which he calls “weird looking castles”. He begins to search for Meta Knight, Kirby, Bandee or the Waddle Dee’s…. Meanwhile in allyway Meta Knight wakes up his head throbbing from the pillar so much to where he can’t even fly! But being the stubborn knight he is he tried to fly anyway but fell to the ground unconscious.. he wakes up to weird animals trying to drag him into a cage and Dedede scaring them off getting so mad he ends up roaring- they chase the animals who had Dee’s in cages and they ran into Kirby… after a bit of small talk Kirby explains what happened with him and Dedede ask Kirby to stay and protect Waddle Dee town.

Meta Knight and King Dedede set out to find more Waddle Dees as they hear a “Wanya!!” Which Dedede runs to the crushed house he heard it from expecting to find a hurt Waddle Dee but instead find a small weird creature stuck in a cage….. they help it out of a cage and it curiously sniffs them and jumps back once it realizes there not from there… confusion runs back and forth- Meta thinks this is thing trying to trick them and there gonna get betrayed again (cough cough Marx cough Magolor) Dedede reassured him and the two ask the creature it’s name which it copies them when they were talking to each other.. confused Meta ask Dedede to do something which Dedede does his signature peace sign (✌️) which the little creature mimics it which Meta comes to a conclusion.

“Mimicry. That’s how they learn and communicate.”

Dedede is so proud honstely but quickly introduces him and Meta Knight which the creature calls them “Dedee and Metee” and Meta gets back on track to get the creature to say it’s name so it mixes sounds which comes out as “Elfilis”-

Happy the confusion is ‘kinda’ gone Dedede carry’s still injured Meta Knight and the small creature now know as Elfilis and sets off to find the rest of the Waddles (and Bandee too).
