Being burnt alive was as eventful as you'd think it is- full of agony. That same agony fueled his hatred and anger. He wont ever forget what they did to him. He wont forget the feeling of the flamed picking his smooth skin clean, until all thats left is bumpy, gross and infected skin. He was always a monster on the inside, but now he was one on the outside as well. In a weak attempt to not die, he bandaged his whole body, using scraps of his black and white marble coat as well. Made himself a bandana as well, to hide the fact his once long, silky hair had been half burnt off, leaving him with the short hair he used to have as a teenager. He only left his face and hands bare.
He hated how he looked now, more than ever. His hair and weak state was reminiscent of his school years. He hated it. He had never wanted to feel frail again, but now he was, more than ever. Coughing blood, limping, sensitive to touch, hair falling out- his personal hell, this had become.
Seeing a new game starting, he had slowly made his way over. Took a wristband and phone, and waited for more people. To his delight, the people ended up being those bastards from The Beach. Arisu, Kuina, car mechanic boy that he forgot the name of- ohh, and Usagi. He couldnt wait to see what the game was.
To his pleasure, they were all one team- Player team. Playing against the King team, in a game called Osmosis. The King was the creator of the game, and his team were his friends. They had been a band in real life, but ended up becoming Borderland citizens. The rules were simple. Each team started with a specific number of points, and they had a base. The wristbands showed how much points one teammate had. They could get more points by contact- they touch someone from the opposing team, and whoever has more points then takes a few points from the other person. Or they could look around the arena for items that offered them points. Whichever team had less points by the end of the game, they'd all die. Arisu let Tatta be the base-keeper. He teamed Usagi up with Niragi, much to Niragis satisfaction.
They were doing good, until now. They had a plan, it failed, and now they were severely behind on points. Only a miracle could save them. The Players team had given up. With 15 minutes remaining, they all split up, just helplessly looking around. Most of the Kings team had their guard down, sitting at their base and waiting for the timer to be up. Most, but not her.
She was part of the Kings team. The girl had been mostly silent til now, as she had been by the base. But now she felt spiteful enough to go and try to take even more points from the Players team. She was roaming around.
Niragi, meanwhile, aimlessly passed a corner, and ran into the girl. He hadnt seen her the whole game, and for a second, he seriously thought she was a random who accidentally ended up in the arena. But while he was thinking, she'd started sprinting towards him. He didnt really have time to react, nor did he have the energy to, because he was slowly dying from the inside, anyway. Blood staining his lips from his coughing fits earlier.
Before he knew it, he was knocked to the ground. Hitting the ground hard with his back, which had his back arching slightly, a grunt leaving him. "Fuck-" She had straddled him, and taken half his points. Rendering the Players team even more helpless. Though he cared less about that, since he was already dying. What he cared for was the view of her on top of him. He coughed, and then started squirming. "Get the hell off of me." He grunted, strained.
