The reception hall was alive with energy, laughter, and the clinking of glasses. The celebration had gone exactly as Bakugo expected—loud, chaotic, and packed with loved ones. Fitting for two pro heroes who had finally tied the knot.
The speeches began soon after, starting with Kirishima, who stood up with a grin.
“Man, I’ve known Bakugo since high school, and let me tell you—watching him fall in love has been one of the wildest things ever. We all thought no one could handle his temper, but somehow, this guy managed to keep up. And now? Now he's officially stuck with him!"
“But seriously," Kirishima continued, raising his glass, "you two are perfect for each other. So here’s to a lifetime of victories, love, and hopefully, fewer property damage bills."
Laughter followed, and after a few more speeches Bakugo felt the warmth settle in his chest.
Then came the real party—music, drinks, and the dance floor crowded with pro heroes on the loose. Bakugo wasn’t much for dancing, but after enough whiskey, he let his husband pull him onto the floor.
They were both tipsy by then, grinning and kissing between songs, completely lost in their own world.
Their old classmates dragged them into a group dance at some point, and even Bakugo joined in. The world was spinning in the best way possible, and every time he looked at his husband, he just knew. This was the best damn decision he’d ever made.
——
Hours later, with their suits slightly disheveled and their heads clouded with alcohol, they finally made their way to the hotel suite.
“Y’know," Bakugo slurred, smirking, "you’re kinda hot when you dance."
His husband laughed. “Only kinda?"
Bakugo shrugged lazily. “Alright, really fuckin’ hot. Happy?"
“Very."
The doors opened, and they barely made it to their room without tripping over each other. As soon as the door shut behind them, Bakugo grabbed his husband by the tie, pulling him in for a deep kiss.
Bakugo dragged him toward the bed. “C’mere, husband. We got a wedding night to finish."
