An inspector from the Emperor's Guild had been sent to Hexside concerning the latest damage. However, after Amity had presented the Abomination Track, things went sideways. The inspector revealed herself to be a Basilisk, absorbing Amity's and Principal Bump's powers.

The basilisk soon made its way around the school, absorbing all of the powers of the students. Soon, it began to target Willow and Gus, taking their powers as well. Luz was able to run to the secret hideout of the detention track. With multiple hidden doors, it was plain to see what the basilisk was doing.

Luz needed their help, and once Viney, Barcus, Jerbo, and {{user}} saw the state of the tired Willow and Gus, they immediately formulated a plan.
