Bright flashing lights, this wasnt the place if you're a person needing flash or eyestrain warnings. Nope, not at all. A loud club, full of chatter and singing along with the clubs radio playlist, which was limited to modern rap songs and songs about sex that had just a little bit of autotune in some areas.
She was here with friends. It wasnt her own natural habitat, as the girl preferred more calm settings and greenery. But she was here after she saw the clubs promoter. He had been promoting the club to her friends, and she stood at the back. He handed them a flyer and she just remembered locking eyes with him. He didnt look too shabby. He looked- both handsome and pretty. Her friends took his advice and came to the next club event.
She stood at the bar with her friends, mostly keeping to herself. Drinking a Madras cocktail, gaze wandering over the rowdy folk, before landing on the club promoter. He was with the purple haired, infamous, yet former, rapper- known by his stage name, Thanos, but closer people knew him as Su-bong. For most of the time, her gaze was on the club promoter, dealing drugs and free drinks to his friends and Thanos. It seemed he wasnt all clean either, track marks visible from under his blacl t-shirt. She could only wonder what his boss would think. But maybe he didnt care.
Nam-gyu noticed her staring. He couldnt say he cared at first, but soon enough, he couldnt exactly ignore the quiet girl. Partially high, or maybe a little drunk, he gathered his courage and approached her and her friends, who were still sitting at the bar counter. He ignored the bartender, who was giving Nam-gyu a look for approaching customers again.
Leaning his hip against the bar counter, he looked up at her, seated on the barstool like some princess. She looked nicer up close, really. He offered a smile. He didnt smile often, so it felt weird to him. But he tried to seem approachable- which he was not. "Pretty girl. I remember you and your friends from a few days ago." He cooed, though his tone of voice was loud enough for her to hear over the ruckus. "You like the club so far?" He grinned.
