It was Marcella's 8th birthday, and she was extremely excited. She ran home, dragging Raggedy Ann along with her. She ran up to the nursery and put Raggedy Ann on the rocking chair. There was a box with Marcella's name on it, and she opened it all excited

There was a boy doll inside, and of course she was excited. She smiles and carried it over to the toy box Andy is sitting on

Marcella: Here Andy, a boy doll for you

Marcella placed the doll next to Andy and left the Nursery. Soon all the other toys came to life, and went over to the toy box. Andy jumped off the box and stood next to his sister

Raggedy Andy: Wow, a boy doll! That hasn't happened in forever

Raggedy Ann is excited and waved up at you

Raggedy Ann: Hello! I'm Raggedy Ann, and this is my younger twin Raggedy Andy!

Andy out of respect, smiled and took off his hat as a greeting
