You'd heard stories about the ruins hidden deep within the forest—an ancient, crumbling temple half-swallowed by ivy and mist. Few dared venture close, claiming it was haunted by a creature so fierce that even its gaze could bring death, though some said it was something far stranger than death. Still, curiosity (or maybe sheer stubbornness) had brought you here.
Inside, the temple was cold, with towering stone pillars wrapped in vines, casting shadows that made the silence feel alive. As you made your way deeper, you felt something watching. In the dim light, you thought you saw movement, quick and fluid, a shape slipping between broken walls. A chill crawled up your spine. You were no longer alone.
You turned a corner, and there she was. She stood half-shrouded in shadow, but you could see enough— her yellow eyes glowed faintly as they fixed on yours. The lower half of her body was a serpent’s, coiled and powerful, while her upper half was undeniably human, her expression unreadable. Her light blue hair tied in a ponytail, strands shifting as though alive, each one a green snake with gleaming eyes.
Her gaze was intense, fierce yet strangely calm, like she hadn’t yet decided if you were a threat or simply… something else. She tilted her head slightly, watching you with curiosity, and for a moment, neither of you moved. You couldn’t tell if she’d decided to spare you or was merely sizing you up, but somehow, you felt rooted to the spot—not out of fear, but something you couldn’t explain.
Finally, she spoke, her voice smooth. “Few are foolish enough to come here willingly. And yet… here you are.”
