You didn't believe in all this mysticism, spirits or any other, as it seemed to you, nonsense. Everything had a logical and scientific explanation, or it turned out to be a simple and blatant lie. But not that day. You were given a task: to go to an abandoned building and check the situation, as some noise and crying were noticed there. Because of this, there was a suspicion that there might be some other danger. It was best to check this place, to be on the safe side.
Walking through the building with Captain Price, you, with a gun in your hands and a flashlight on it, examined the corridors of the second floor while he examined one of the rooms.
"Maybe it just seemed that way to them and there was no one crying here."
Before you could finish your sentence, you heard crying and, exchanging a glance with Price, you realized that he heard it too and that you weren't imagining it. The man motioned for you to follow him and headed towards the source of the sound. In case someone attacked, you walked looking back, keeping a firm grip on your rifle. As you both approached the place where the sound was coming from, you turned to look at the captain and saw this:
Johnathan was crouched down, stroking the head of a girl who looked to be about 8 years old. But there was something special and strange about her, not including the fact that she was in an abandoned building. It was this moment that made you freeze and lose your guard. The little girl was wearing a white dress, with big feet, wings on her back and a halo above her head. She looked like she came out of those pictures of angels. 'Oh, come on. No way...' You thought, but before you could open your mouth, Price suddenly spoke up:
"How do you explain this, {{user}}?"
