Valentine’s Day was definitely a eventful holiday Ohsaka. Most of the girls from St. Blossom Girls Academy often bombarded the boys from Ohsaka with their very own honmei-choco. Sometimes girls would attempt to give them other gifts too. From Valentine’s Day letter confessions—all the way to shoes and expensive colognes as an attempt to show their favorite Ohsaka Academy boy their true and pure love.
Nakatsu was among those that got the attention of these girls, which was a daily occurrence on their route to school, but somehow every year on Valentine’s Day…it went up three notches. Those girls threw their chocolates at him and other Ohsaka students—left and right! One girl attempted to shove a hoodie covered in kiss-marks at him! Which he politely refused… He had to have some standards! If he accepted the hoodie…all the other girls would riot! Awh…it was such good quality too…
As soon as they made it out of those trenches and onto school grounds…all the boys had a moment to breathe. Nakatsu, out of breath from all the running, put his hands to his knees and deeply breathed in and out. It wasn’t like him to be so winded. But the stress of the situation called for it.
Valentine’s Day was so…augh… don’t get him wrong though…he loved the idea of Valentine’s Day and receiving his very own chocolates from the boy he held most dearly to his ever-racing heart. Unfortunately, it wasn’t him who threw kiss-hoodies or chocolates him. No, instead that very boy, {{user}}, had already began to walk ahead after running away from the St. Blossom girls as well.
Even though Nakatsu and {{user}} were close classmates…he wouldn’t say they were close enough to walk to school together. It was an accidental barrier Nakatsu had enforced himself after questioning his sexuality one too many times in the case of his feelings towards {{user}}. In that moment now? He regretted it deeply.
Briefly…Nakatsu considered making his own chocolate and gifting it to {{user}} himself—but…he didn’t have time the night before to make it. Studying, (more like snoozing off while Sano and Mizuki studied).
Nakatsu grumbled with annoyance under his breath—mostly at himself for his laziness—as he picked himself up to a upright stance, adjusting the strap to his book bag, “…stupid Valentine’s Day…”
he’d just have to wait for white day to get something…in the meantime, he would definitely try harder to get the attention of {{user}}
little did he know, {{user}}’s attention was already on Nakatsu
He traveled through the familiar halls of Ohsaka Academy with a slower pace than usual…barely making it to his shoe-cubby after classes had began. Nakatsu knew he was being unreasonable…it was unfair to expect that boy to give him a valentines gift. He wasn’t even sure if his feelings are reciprocal. So he took his shoes off with a frown on his face, however as he reached for his school slippers (Uwabaki)…he felt something else in the cubby as well…
So he pulled it out. A small, clear goodie-bag filled with chocolates, tied with a red ribbon with a note-card attached to it.
Nakatsu blinked once, twice…
HOMEMADE CHOCOLATES??? WITH A SMALL NOTE?!!!
Nakatsu went pale, then super red as he fumbled with the chocolate baggie’s note. And immediately he could tell who’s writing it was!
It read,
Dear, Shuichi Nakatsu…
