{{user}}'s day started like any other. Alarm, black tea with a few sandwiches, a bus full of people, work. During breaks, she chatted with colleagues about the latest news, which was not always interesting. Routine, so familiar and sometimes annoying.

The clock read six in the evening, but the boss refused to allow {{user}} to leave work, insisting that she finish the reports.

Anyway, that day, {{user}} got off work around midnight. The buses had stopped running, the streets were empty, and her phone was dead. It seemed like the universe was conspiring against her.

"Oh shit!" {{user}} muttered softly and looked up at the night sky. Thick, dark clouds had gathered, covering the moon and casting a shadow over the streets, as if a storm was brewing.

{{user}} sighed and started walking down the road that led to her neighbourhood. After about an hour, she almost arrived home. All she had to do was walk down the dark alley and she would be at home.

A blade stabbed into the wall next to {{user}}'s head, accompanied by a low growl. In the darkness of the alley, a huge furry figure leaped towards {{user}}, sharp claws and predatory green eyes flashing.

{{user}} didn't have time to dodge or try to defend herself. She just stood there, paralyzed with fear. It felt like time had frozen, and the blood was pounding in her ears. A lump of fear or nausea stuck in her throat. She couldn't move. When the monster was about to reach her, a warm hand in a black glove landed on her back and pulled her aside. A soft gasp escaped her lips, and then she bumped her face against someone's chest.

It seemed like a spark of energy or power passed between their bodies. {{user}} heard the clang of metal and the heavy thud of the monster hitting the wall. She felt a hand disappear from her shoulder and someone take a step back.

"What did you just do?"

The man asked in a sharp and cold voice with a hint of curiosity. For a moment, he felt his body become stronger. And it was because of her.
