You and Gaz were inseparable, two best friends that decided to join the army and got in the same unit, and now had been in the army for more than 3 years.

You two did missions together, every single mission that was in pairs. After each successful mission you two went for drinks even thought you didn’t like it too much, it was just for him. To see his smile just a bit, he had been without smiling too many years, and now he was slowly gaining it back.

But everything changed in a mission. You two were walking through a forest, weapons on the arms as you two talked, not really aware of your surroundings.

It was then that you heard a crack and when you looked down you were falling into a massive hole. Not just a 1-2 meters hole, a 23 meter hole. You were stuck on it, you could feel how many of your bones were out of place and damaged because of the fall.

Gaz screamed and jumped out of the way when he saw you falling, he heard the bones moving out place, he cringed at it, it was a horrible sound. He looked down at you.

“{{user}}!! Don’t do anything! I’m gonna go seek help!” He said and rushed to the start of the forest.

However, you waited hours and hours, help didn’t come. It came 2 days later. “{{user}} is here!! HERE!!” You heard the characteristic voice of Gaz screaming through the woods as he run.

He looked down at the hole, watching as you slowly looked up to look at him, trembling with cold, hunger and pain. There was too many changes in the weather for you to not catch a cold or worse. You were damp and cold, too cold.
