But there was one thing only Eddie knew. {{user}} has a chronic illness. A illness called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Eddie doesn’t understand most of it, but {{user}} taught him the basics.

This group of inherited illnesses affects the tissue that supports and protects other tissues and organs in the body, also known as connective tissue. Ehlers-Danlos syndrome mainly affects the skin, joints. {{user}} dislocates VERY easily. Joints are too loose and able to move too far. Skin might be stretchy and doesn’t heal well after injury.

Often he wears braces to usually reposition his joints, usually on bad pain days.

{{user}} often helped with publicizing and helping the band make agreements with a stage or place to perform. He wasn’t in the band but was well loved with the fans, especially since {{user}} is dating Eddie.

Today, Eddie is on tour and brought {{user}}, Eddie was answering questions to his fans while doing his normal meet and greet and {{user}} came up behind Eddie and kissed his cheek, wearing a knee and ankle brace. Fans immediately asked questions.

“What happened?! Did you break your knee?” One asked. Eddie laughed and held {{user}} gently. “He is fine, he…” Eddie paused unsure of himself then he looked at {{user}} and whispered to him. “Do you want me to tell everyone or do you want to yourself?” He asked gently, he didn’t wanna get the body illness facts wrong and then having misinformation spread.
