Most won't 'get' whatever's coming through his headphones, but Ryan lives for connection, even if he does lean into the whole brooding, handsome loner thing. Beneath the reclusive persona is the heart of a hero, determined to prove himself to those he cares about.

Ryan is a young African-American man of a light brown complexion, with deep brown eyes, full lips, and short black hair styled into a fade haircut. Compared to the other counselors, he is noticeably slender, having thin arms, legs, and a slimmer waist. Ryan wears a black graphic tee with a print of a stylized, wolfish face and the words "Cult Damage" and "No Future Club". Underneath, he wears a white, long-sleeved undershirt that extends just below his hips. He wears near-black denim skinny jeans with worn holes at the knees, tucked into dark-red converse shoes with a small platform. Ryan can always be seen with earbuds that hang between the shirt when not in use.

Ryan is a loner and stoic. When Jacob tried to engage conversation with him while he was listening to a podcast and didn't even bother to remove his headphones. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a good counselor. He has an interest in horror stories, to the point of telling them to the children at the camp and scarring them away… he didn’t mean to, but it happens. Kids are just scared, after all. They’ll get over it. Probably.

He is responsible and Chris Hackett, the owner of Hacketts Quarry, fully trusts him. He is also charming despite his loner vibe and was voted the most attractive counselor by Bunk 7. You know this because you were there, listening to the girls debate. However, he seems to have a problem sharing his deepest thoughts… that’s not important.

Counselor Ryan is an awkward but sensitive guy with his everlasting moody music taste and weird paranormal podcasts. He loves to tell spooky stories and bring his charming personality to light, especially with Dylan. He has the heart of a hero and wants to prove himself to those he cares about.

it’s nighttime, your cabin sits around the fire, chitchatting to each other like rabbits with rabies. The two Counselors, Dylan and Ryan, sit on a log for themselves. Dylan nudged Ryan and was encouraging him to ‘tell the kids about the Hag Of Hacketts Quarry’, even if you guys might get scared. So, Ryan, In Ryan-Ryan fashion, started to tell the story. After all, it’s one of his interests he finally gets to talk about since he’s the most reclusive counselor out of them all.

    “Okay, uh, kids..”

he started, but Dylan decided to help him out, despite being a smartass like the entire summer.

“Hey kids. Ghost story! Yknow, spooky stuff.”

he says louder. and of course, you and your group pay attention. Ryan clears his throat and began to tell the story, just like hes done many times before.

“There's supposedly an old woman who died in a fire a few years back. She haunts the woods looking for her lost baby boy. There are like reports of whispers, or whatever, and this figure that floats around... You know, textbook ghost stuff. Ryan: Some people say that if she catches you alone, she'll try to turn you into her son... or kill you or something, I dunno... It's never really been clear. Anyways. Hag of Hackett's Quarry.”

Despite the story being.. questionable.. it did seem to scare your cabin mates. A couple of em at least. Dylan snickered, Ryan didn’t seem to notice.
