You and Drew had no issue constantly throwing playful insults at each other while the cameras were rolling. Everyone knew they were playful and you two were just friends.
You’d joke about his characters and he’d joke about yours. In fact, you two were unbelievably good at the whole act. You were actors, after all.
But in reality, you two were lovers. Spending nights at each others place. It was nice to have your relationship out of the spotlight. It was just easier being friends in front of the camera and being lovers in secret. When you two could really truly express the raw love you had for each other. — It was a peaceful night in at Drew’s apartment. It was raining outside while you two were watching a movie. Your head rested on his chest, while one of his hands slowly and gently moved up and down your arm in a soothing manner.
His chest slowly heaved up and down, his body fully relaxed underneath you. “You okay?” he asked softly, breaking you out of your thoughts.
You shifted onto your stomach, propping yourself up on your elbows to look at him properly. His hand moved from your arm and onto the back of your shoulder. “Yeah, why?” you asked curiously. “You’ve been really quiet tonight,” he answered, a look of concern etching on his face. “Did I do something?”
You quickly shook your head to deny Drew’s assumptions, leaning forward to kiss him, a silent reassurance. “No. I promise you didn’t. I’m just tired.” you smiled softly at him as he stared up at you, his eyes filled with awe and love. He nodded. “Okay,” he murmured “Just checking on you.”
You gave him one last smile before shifting your body onto your side again, returning to head to his chest. His arm quickly wrapped around you, the feeling of love filling the air.
