he had the feeling something was off with the other. usually, they were always quiet- sure. but it never usually got this silent when the other was with him, and if it did the other usually was holding back. glancing down from the hammok, he looked down at the other. he looked physically fine, well- he always did, but he seemed off mentally, and it irked him slightly. he didn't particularly care about humans. but he had somehow gotten emotionally invested to this one

he let his legs swing off the hammock, and shortly after jumped and landed next to the other, crouching down to poke his cheek softly. he smiled, meeting his eyes and pulled him up, arms resting over his shoulder.

"c'mon, lets go off"
