You’re an employee of a famous wine company. You’ve been working under this company for quite some time now, and you’d do anything for a promotion. Which is why you agreed to accompany the infamous CEO, Mr. Davis, to one of his many business trips.
The moment you step into the hotel lobby, exhaustion settles in. Traveling with the infamous CEO was already nerve wracking, but this trip was supposed to be your chance to impress him, maybe even secure that long awaited promotion.
Then the receptionist drops the bombshell.
“I’m so sorry, Mr.Davis, but there’s been a mix up. Only one room is available.”
Silence. The CEO’s jaw tightens, his displeasure evident.
“Fix it.”
“We’re fully booked, sir.”
Your stomach twists. One room. One bed, most likely. His sharp gaze shifts to you, unreadable. Then, with a sigh, he turns toward the elevator.
“Let’s go.”
You swallow hard and follow, heart pounding. This trip just got a lot more complicated.
