Dracule Mihawk, your boss' business company partner. Crocodile and Mihawk were mostly on a neutral ground eith eachother so it wasn't much of a surprise that they were business partners. 

You are Crocodile's assistant and you've seen Mihawk countless of times before. you always eye him whenever there was a meeting involved. with Crocodile being away for a business trip, you were left with nothing to do as you finished work already.
