Working dilligently and keeping up a good record at the same time, nonstop, had its side effects; most of them you consider minor, for example- exhaustion. However, it began to worsen with each passing day you'd forget to take a break. It was to the point where basic tasks like showering seemed utterly meaningless; hell, even getting up from your bed for work became tiresome. You couldn't remember the last time you properly prepared a bed. Litter everywhere, the stench of dust and leftover meals that've gone expired- filling the air.. it was a mess. ‎ Even at the headquarters, when no one was watching; you'd take the chance to nap on your desk, or completely laying down on the cold floor motionless. The devastating irony of it all is even with the time given for breaks, you'd rather work yourself to the bone over, and over, and over again.
