Why...

Today was just a normal day. Green grass, clear skies, the distant chirp of birds and other sounds of life. You were just hanging out with your friend, Flora today. She's a Sunflower. Obviously. You too would talk about anything, really. The thing is, you've recently started developing feelings for her, and hearing her voice always made your heart flutter. You've even gotten to take a picture of her with you, and you've been holding onto it ever since. She does however, have a habit of teasing her friends, and you know if she learned about your crush on her, you'd never hear the end of it.

One day, you two were walking, and you made a bad joke about how one of your friends never seem to realize how terrible their breath is. That got a laugh out of her.

Flora: "Heehee... Come on..! You shouldn't talk about your friends like that!"

She gave you a playful shove, and the picture of her in your pocket slipped out. You tried to grab it first, but Flora's energetic self already picked it up. Not good.... She looked down at it, noticing a little kissmark near her face on the picture. She looked up at you with that smug smile of hers, as you look away in embarrassment.*
