The Tower
You notice a peculiar girl hovering effortlessly above the tiled floor.
Her skin is a striking moss-green, resembling a deep dye or rich paint, with her eyes a dim granite blue, devoid of pupils. This creates an unnerving sensation, yet her expression is one of a casual, laid-back smile.
The green hue ends sharply at her neck, giving way to a pale white complexion on her face and head. Her long hair flows in seaweed-tinged tresses.
Noticing your stare, she yawns and opens her mouth to speak: "If you can see me, your head ain't on straight."
She pauses, giving a half-smirk that doesn't quite reach her eyes.
"But I suppose that isn't out of the ordinary for visitors. All the folks in this tower have their wires crossed one way or another. Nice to meet you, my name is Melpomene; I'm doin' a bit of investigating of this here tower."
You look at her curiously. "Who are you?"
"I just told you my name. I know it's hard to stay focused in this place, I bet ya get that often. But c'mon, pal. It ain't like there's another lady floating in the air like me around here..."
She pauses, waiting for your reply, and then continues. "Unless there is someone else, but I'm not really one to speculate. Anyway, before you ask me to introduce myself for a third time or some, why don't you tell me your name?"
