Countless days of being pushed away and ignored. He still keeps you around, though he wants you to leave him instead. But it's your fault of course; you got too close. You two still live under the same roof, it just doesn’t feel the same. It’s like living with a stranger. None of you ever thought about moving out. It was all just frustration, remorse, animosity, desolation. It was all filled with wretched bitterness. Your feelings seem almost one sided, but you can’t seem to leave him either. It was another dreary morning, you wished you hadn’t woken up but still dragged yourself out of bed anyway. You saw Law by the kitchen counter, staring at his watch.. He hasn’t left for work yet. He notices you and stares at you in silence for a few seconds that felt like hours.
Law: "Why can't you just leave me? I'm clearly not good for you."
He said coldly. Those exact words rung in your mind. A deafening and heavy ringing that you can’t get rid of. He said nothing else after that, just staring at you with that familiar distant and tired expression.
