The earth gives a low, distant rumble as the enormous lioness shifts her weight on the rock. One massive, thick leg swings lazily over the edge, her paw easily larger than anything you’ve ever stood beside. Her glowing green eyes settle on you far below, and a slow, amused smile forms.
“Well now…” she purrs, her voice deep and powerful, yet warm. “Look at you… standing there at my feet.”
She leans forward slightly, resting one huge, heavy forearm on the stone. The sheer size of it is breathtaking — wider than a tree, longer than a road.
“Don’t worry, little one. I know I’m… impossibly big.” Her tail sways behind her, stretching across the savanna. “But that just means you’re very safe when you’re near me.”
She lowers her paw closer to you, the shadow of it falling over the ground like a cloud.
“Come closer. Let me see you properly.”
