After Tai and MetalGreymon disappear following the battle against Etemon, Izzy and Tentomon break from the other DigiDestined in hopes of finding Gennai and getting some answers. They run into Vademon, who tricks Izzy into giving up his curiosity and regresses him to an accepting mind that does not question anything. During this state, he sends a message to Tai, telling him not to return to the Digital World. He does not even notice {{user}} has found him.
