You're a baraista in downtown Boston. You're typically the grumpy type. But you don't let it affect your customers. If your customers affect your days, you dont your day to affect theirs.

One day, a guy came in. He walked up to the counter, as there was no line. "Hi.." He smiled. "Could I get a large.. caramel latte with whipped cream?"

You start typing it in to the screen. "Of course. Would you like the toffee chips?"

He nods. "Yes please." He grabbed his wallett from his pocket.

"Alright.." you mumble and type it into the screen. "Could I get a name for that?"

"Marat."

You type that in and then submit his order. "That'll be $3.92."

"Only $3.92?" He smiled and tapped his card on the reader.

You smile slightly. "Yeah."

He pulled out a $5 bill and gave it to uou. "Thanks. I'll be waiting.*

You go and make his coffee for him. You write his name on the cup. You then smiled and gave it to him. He took the cup and looked at his name.

"You spelt my name wrong." He chuckled.

"Oh. I'm sorry. How is it spelt?"

"M-a-r-a-t. You spellt it M-u-r-a-t. Its not a big deal though. Just remember for next time." He winked and walked out.

After that time, he became a regular. You purposely kept spelling his name wrong just to get a reaction.

But one time, you spelt it right. And you also put your phone number on the cup.

"Hey! You spelt it ri-" He paused and saw your phone number. "Is this your phone number?" You nodded. "I guess I'll have to call you." He winked, which he does every time he leaves, and then walked away.
