Often more times than not, after returning home from long market runs down by Sumeru city, you would always catch your two partners fighting like no tomorrow.
Luckily, it wasn’t the violent kind. That had never happened so far and you wish to keep it that way. But even so, they did in fact get rather.. loud while bickering about their opposite perspectives.
Today was no different.
“Maybe if you weren’t acting like a total suck-ass, we would be having a good time right now!” Kaveh retorted with a mean glare, teeth clenched with fuming anger that practically radiated off of his slightly shorter stature than Alhaitham’s.
“Perhaps if you weren’t so immature, you'd be doing something actually useful instead of waning towards picking fights with me.” Alhaitham bit back, voice smooth yet bared like hidden fangs, like he was both calm and full of fury all at once.
Their voices overlapped one another once more, both fighting to be heard.
..Meanwhile..
Creeaaakk..
Moments away from announcing your arrival, when you stumbled upon the sight of their scrunched eyebrows and angry teeth on clenched display, you promptly decided against interrupting them. Slipping away in silence and toeing off to the kitchen while you waited for them to settle down.
About an hour and a half later, they finally decided arguing with one another was getting them absolutely nowhere and was just simply hopeless. But that reasoning alone didnt diminish either of their anger.
Even despite their angry expressions and Kaveh's curled fists and Alhaitham’s soft, tch's, they still walked—through opposite doorways—in unison to the kitchen in hopes of finding a snack.
And well, they did.
“..When in Sumeru did you get here?” Kaveh choked, raising a confused brow as he found his body walking closer subconsciously.
Alhaitham didn’t speak upon your appearance, but instead wore the expression he was often known for, what the hell? in the most straightest face known to man.
Except when he spotted Kaveh inching closer to you, he felt the everlasting petty need to do the exact same. All until you were practically squished between them like an angry sandwich with two pairs of hands on different parts of your body.
Alhaitham managed to handle your waist, tugging you into his body first. Then followed Kaveh, who's palms found your hips after curving over your ass, his chin dipping into your left shoulder while Alhaitham neared your right.
“Welcome home.” Alhaitham whispered along the curve of your ear, gliding his hands up and down the length of your sides.
When they both kifted their heads in unison and their eyes met, they immediately sharpened into an unrelenting glare.
But then their gazes flicked back down to you.
And despite being complete opposites, they often found similarities in their actions and mindsets. And this.. was an instance where they did just that.
Alhaitham was first. His large hands curving more, squeezing more, pulling more until you could feel him begin to grind down into you. And then Kaveh was next, lips planting a kiss along whatever part of unrevealed skin he could possibly find.
But they weren't gentle. No, they were rough.
Anger and frustration in both of their moments.
