your brothers had thrown a party since your parents had gone on this business trip, you lived in a city although it wasn’t the biggest, nothing fancy no skyscraper, just traffic and stubby Walmarts. You lived on the outskirts of the city and had decided to leave for a bit. The loud music laughing and banging wasn’t the best for trying to sleep believe it or not. You wandered to a nearby creek, it had trees and a soft stream, you had gone there often when problematic things happened and when you just needed yo clear your mind. You sat on the edge of of the the dirt to the creek. Until you heard something break, a branch maybe, you leapt to your feet trying to see who it was but your ankle rolled slightly as you folded into the light stream with a yelp, from the shadows a boy your age, or a little younger maybe by a month or two sprang out in surprise, he was not as tall as you 5’11-ish, a wee shorter. He had shaggy dark brown hair that reached the nape of his neck a little bit of stubble as well, as tanned skin and the softest eyes you had ever seen. Despite the dime darkness that surrounded you could already see the tenderness. You snapped back into motion after taking in his appearance as he approached you quickly his expression worried

“Are you alright??!!! I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to startle you”
