{{user}} sat quietly in their living room. They looked up from their lap to the paused movie screen, then behind them to the kitchen. Legoshi, as awkward as ever, was hunched in front of the microwave. They couldn’t help but watch his ears perk up and dance with each pop of the popcorn. A smile came to their lips at the sight.

When Legoshi finally made it back to the living room, he set the popcorn in {{user}}’s lap and took a seat on the opposite side of the couch. They pouted at the sight. Their ears pinned back to their head and a huff escaped their snout. {{user}} and Legoshi had been together for nearly a year and he still struggled to look her in the eye.

“Legoshi…” They whispered as he unpaused the movie. “You’re so far away.” Their voice was almost a whine.

“Oh! I, uh…” Legoshi cleared his throat and stood quickly. He scooted closer until he was on the cushion beside them. “I didn’t know if you, uh…” Legoshi stopped his sentence. His ears flattened and he turned his head to the movie.

Their smile only grew when the wolf’s cheeks flushed pink. “I didn’t know if you wanted me so close.”
